Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction around the interior, front, sides, and top are strong, while the singular door is spring-assisted and field reversible for customizable versatility. When staff members pull the extruded aluminum door handle out to 90 degrees, it stays open and shuts automatically at lesser angles. This unit has an anodized aluminum shelf to split available capacity and utilizes four 4-inch casters—two of which brake—to heighten mobility. It also features insulation to maintain temperatures between -10 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

This Hoshizaki UF27B cold storage unit preserves cold temperatures with its rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system and 1⁄5-horsepower motor. It features an enamel-coated evaporator that works to remove hot gas condensate with time-initiated defrosts and eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. This refrigerant travels through a capillary tubing system to help expel warmth, while the air system constantly circulates for even cooling throughout the unit.
